Name A CHA Dog or Cat

Everyone asks us how we come up with names for our dogs, cats, kittens and puppies. Volunteers, staff, and sometimes previous owners name the animals that come through the doors at CHA Animal Shelter. After naming close to 20,000 animals through the years we could really use your help!

For a $25 deductible donation you can name a dog or cat in honor of a friend, family member, beloved pet or just for the fun of it. This is a great gift for children and adults who love animals, but may not have a pet of their own! Order now!

CHA reserves the right to refuse a name that may not be appropriate or that may be overused. CHA will make a note on the animal's profile, noting who sponsored their name and any message or meaning attached to it.

Payments are processed securely through PayPal and you can use any major credit card or your PayPal account. It's up to you.

Detailed instructions for secure on-line payments

You have two options: Pay with a major credit card or pay by using your PayPal account. The PayPal option is shown first on the payment page and the option to use a major credit card is lower on the page.

To use your credit card

Scroll down to Don't have a Paypal account?
Click the Continue button.
Fill in all the required information as indicated by an orange asterisk (*).
Click the Continue button.

To use your PayPal account

Type the email address you use for PayPal in the Email field.
Type your PayPal password in the Password field.
Click Log in.
Confirm that the details of the payment are correct, then click the Pay button.
